Farmers Market
Every Thursday the Downtown Merchants Association sponsors a farmers
market featuring locally grown produce, live music and sidewalk
sales.
Car Show
The Downtown Merchants sponsor a monthly car show from April through November,
5-8pm,
featuring classic cars of all makes and models, as well as a variety of customized

Art Walk
The Elsinore Valley Art Network sponsors
an Art Walk on the 1st Saturday of each month from 4-8pm, from March through
October. Local artists display their work along the sidewalks downtown once a
month.
4th of July Celebration
The Downtown Merchants, the City and the Chamber co-sponsor a celebration with
fireworks over the lake and an explosion of festivities including:
chili cook-off, antique faire, live music, gunfighter’s show, horse-drawn
hay rides, theatre performances, folklorico dancers, food & craft vendors & more!
2008 marks a special 120th Anniversary celebration with the historical museums
featuring a slideshow “Lake Elsinore, Then and Now”. Click

Unity
in the Community Parade
The ‘Unity in the Community Parade’,
a yearly event, starts the Holiday season displaying community
spirit just prior
to Thanksgiving.
The parade route goes through the historic downtown
on Main St. and Graham Ave.
Winter Fest
Winter Fest is a public event put on by the City of Lake Elsinore
and community partners, usually in the first week of December.
It is kicked off by a tree lighting ceremony. There is a sleigh
full of Holiday themed entertainment for the whole family.
Historical Society Museum
Lake Elsinore Historical Society maintains two museums downtown. One on Main
Street and an annex located in the basement of the Cultural Center
Building. Both museums have a large collection of local artifacts and old
newspapers & photos
of the “booming” heyday of the late 1920’s.
