Unity in the Community Parade The ‘Unity in the Community Parade’, a yearly event, starts the Holiday season displaying community spirit just prior to Thanksgiving. The parade route goes through the historic downtown on Main St. and Graham Ave. Winter Fest Winter Fest is a public event put on by the City of Lake Elsinore and community partners, usually in the first week of December. It is kicked off by a tree lighting ceremony. There is a sleigh full of Holiday themed entertainment for the whole family. Historical Society Museum Lake Elsinore Historical Society maintains two museums downtown. One on Main Street and an annex located in the basement of the Cultural Center Building. Both museums have a large collection of local artifacts and old newspapers & photos of the “booming” heyday of the late 1920’s.
